Vocational Rehabilitation Services
An individual who is disabled may want to return or start to work despite the complications of their condition. These individuals may seek assistance with Iowa's Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VR). They offer services that help the disabled prepare, seek, secure, and maintain jobs in the work force. One must apply at their local VR office for assistance with the exception of those who are already receiving either SSI or SSDI (they already qualify).
